It’s 2026. Why are you still operating a CRM?

HubSpot and Salesforce are good software from the era when software needed you to drive it. Green Trees is what the category looks like when AI is the backbone: no app, no admin, no seats — a system of record your AI works while you sell. Every number below is a current list price.

Software you operate

Seats, tiers, onboarding fees, implementations, admins, credits, training. The product is capable — and the tax for operating it never ends.

Software with AI bolted on

Both now sell AI — as an add-on, inside their screens, on their meter: ~$1 a lead here, $550 a user there. The AI operates their app. You still operate the AI.

Software that works for you

Green Trees inverts it: your AI — the one you already pay for and talk to all day — holds the whole manifest. You ask; it does; you approve what sends. That’s the product.

Year one, ten reps

Licenses at list, plus the costs each vendor’s own onboarding model makes unavoidable.

Green Trees
What it is
The category
A CRM — software you operate
A CRM — software you operate (and administer)
Not a CRM you operate. A system of record your AI works for you
The interface
An app: pipelines, screens, settings, 100+ menu items
An app: Lightning, list views, page layouts, setup trees
None. Your AI — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor — is the interface
Where AI sits
An add-on (Breeze) that lives inside the app, billed in credits
An add-on tier (Agentforce, $550/user) or per-conversation fees
The backbone. AI is not a feature of the product; it is how the product is used
Mobile
Their app, feature-reduced
Their app, feature-reduced
Whatever your AI runs on — the phone app you already use
Getting started
Time to first value
Days to weeks: onboarding program, pipeline setup, imports
Weeks to months: implementation project, then training
Minutes: paste one URL, type a six-digit code, start asking
Mandatory onboarding fee
$1,500 (Professional) or $3,500 (Enterprise), non-refundable
None — because you pay an implementation partner instead
None
Implementation
DIY or agency
$5,000–$15,000 basic; $25,000–$75,000 mid-market; $75,000–$300,000+ enterprise
There is nothing to implement
Training the team
Courses, certifications, admin-led sessions
Formal training budgets ($2,000–$10,000 is typical)
If they can ask a question, they are trained
Data migration in
CSV imports and mapping screens
$5,000–$25,000 quoted as its own project
A fifteen-minute conversation: connect read-only, approve the mapping in chat, records walk over deduped and receipted
Seats & pricing
Pricing model
Per seat, per month
Per user, per month, per edition
No seats. Priced on records and volume — nobody logs in, so nobody is a seat
List price
Sales Hub Pro $100/seat/mo; Enterprise $150 (annual)
Enterprise $175/user/mo; Unlimited $350; Agentforce 1 $550
Free until you have real volume; per-record after
Ten reps, year one
~$13,500 (Pro + onboarding), before add-ons and credits
$21,000 licenses alone; $46,000–$96,000 with a typical implementation
Per record — and the tenth rep costs the same as the first: nothing
Contract
Annual for the real prices
Annual minimum; the discounts start at 2–3 year commitments
No annual lock required
What growth costs
Every hire is a new seat
Every hire is a new license, on the edition you committed to
Hire freely — records are the meter, not people
Outreach & sequences
Are sequences included?
No on Starter. Gated to Professional ($100/seat)
No on Enterprise. Sales Engagement is a ~$75/user/mo add-on (included at Unlimited, $350)
Included. Built in a sentence, in chat
Building a cadence
A sequence editor with steps, delays, and settings screens
Cadence builder + admin setup
“Build a 3-step intro for the Atlanta list. Keep it short, no Fridays.”
Enrollment
Manual enrollment capped (50 contacts at a time)
List views and cadence targets
By name, email, or segment — up to 200 per ask, ineligible contacts skipped with reasons
Send identity
Connected inbox
Connected inbox
Your own Gmail or Outlook — threaded, inside your quiet hours and caps
When someone replies
Sequence unenrollment rules
Cadence exit rules
The run pauses in the same transaction that records the reply — there is no window where both are true
Who approves a send
Sends go out per your automation settings
Sends go out per cadence configuration
You do. Every send waits for a one-click human approval; the AI cannot approve its own work, by construction
AI, actually
What the AI can do
Breeze Copilot + agents inside their screens
Einstein/Agentforce inside their screens
Everything the product does — the tool registry IS the manifest your AI holds
AI pricing
Credits: $10 per 1,000. Prospecting agent ~$1 per recommended lead; support resolutions ~$0.50 each
Historically ~$2 per conversation, now usage-based Flex Credits — or the $550/user tier
Not metered as an add-on. Reads and writes come with the workspace, budgeted by plan
Bring your own AI
No — their AI, their app
No — their AI, their app
Yes — that is the whole point. Your seat, your model, your memory, your other tools
Standing instructions
Settings scattered per feature
Admin-configured automation
“Never email a prospect on Fridays.” Said once, honored by every seat, stored in the workspace
Activity & the record
Email logging
Inbox connection + extension
Einstein Activity Capture (with its own retention quirks)
One mailbox connect: in/out mail with known contacts lands on records; the same grant syncs meetings (Google)
The call you just had
Open the app, find the record, log it
Open the app, find the record, log it
Say it: “just got off the phone with Dana — she wants pricing.” Filed, labeled as reported by you
The $214 lunch
A custom field, if your admin made one
A custom object, if your admin made one
“Log the lunch — six people, $214, on the Acme record.” Done
Custom fields
Settings → Properties → Create
Object Manager → Fields & Relationships (admin)
“Add a contract-end-date field to companies.” It exists
Audit trail
Activity history
Field history tracking (limited fields, admin-enabled)
Every write leaves a receipt: what changed, why, asked by whom — permanent, and undoable where undo is honest
Reporting
Getting an answer
Build a report, or find the one someone built
Report builder + dashboards (and a request to your admin)
Ask. “Forecast Q4 by territory and flag what slipped a stage this week” is computed live
The Monday dashboard
A dashboard someone maintains
A dashboard someone maintains
Your board: rendered on demand, refreshed by asking, reshaped however you want — with Approve buttons on it
The morning brief
Email digests you configure
Reports subscriptions
A scheduled task in your AI: one call, a few tight lines, the approve links included
Administration
Dedicated admin
Common at scale
Effectively required — the average Salesforce admin salary is ~$92,000/year
There is no admin because there is nothing to administer
Platform expertise on staff
HubSpot admin / RevOps hire — $80,000–$110,000/yr once you outgrow self‑serve
Salesforce admin — ~$92,000/yr median, ranging to $125,000+ senior, plus consultants for changes
$0 — the AI your team already pays for is the operator
Ongoing optimization
Agency retainers common
$10,000–$50,000/year is a typical ongoing spend
The server improves behind the same URL; your AI just gets better at using it
Release cycles
Rolling product updates to learn
Three releases a year, each with admin review
Nothing for you to review — no screens changed, because there are no screens
Leaving
Migrating in
From spreadsheets and other CRMs
A paid project
HubSpot and Salesforce, read-only, by conversation — deduped, resumable, receipted
Your data, out

It is your book. Ask for it and it leaves with you

The honest caveats

HubSpot’s free tier is a real on-ramp, and both products carry a decade of edge-case depth — CPQ, territory hierarchies, partner portals — that Green Trees does not chase. If your process is the twelve-screen kind, you may want the twelve screens. Green Trees is for teams who’d rather describe the outcome than operate the machine — and who’d rather their AI carried the CRM than the other way around.

Moving is a conversation

GT, we’re leaving HubSpot. Bring everything over.

HubSpot or Salesforce, connected read-only. Your AI proposes the field mapping, you say yes in chat, and your book walks over — deduped, receipted, resumable. Nothing changes in the system you’re leaving until you’re sure.
